Sydney welcomes you to the 2010 Australasian Curriculum, Assessment and Certification Authorities Conference.

All educators involved in curriculum, assessment, reporting and certification are warmly encouraged to attend the ACACA annual conference being held at the Sofitel Wentworth on 27-28 September 2010. The Sofitel Wentworth is in the heart of Sydney's CBD, a short stroll from Circular Quay, the gateway to one of the world's most magnificent harbours and the historic Rocks.

The opening day of the conference, Monday 27 September, exploring the Australian curriculum and fully integrating technology into the areas of curriculum, assessment and reporting, is expected to be enlightening. Accelerating developments in digital technologies are exciting but raise new questions about their use in curriculum and assessment and their influence on teaching and learning.

This first day is open to all educators.

The second day will focus on managing high-stake assessments and current and future use of ICT in examinations, assessment and reporting. Registration is limited to personnel from curriculum and school system authorities.
